Upcoming early night subway closures and bus service adjustments
Mon. to Thurs. - St Clair West to St Andrew stations
This Mon., July 21, through Thurs., July 24, subway service on the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St Clair West and St Andrew stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. for planned track work and station upgrades.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the route. Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Dupont, Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
Friday early closure – St George to St Andrew stations
On Fri. July 25, subway service on the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St George and St Andrew stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. for planned track work and station upgrades.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the route. Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Museum, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance after service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.
Bus diversions
- Until Thurs., July 31, the 43 Kennedy route is diverting during roadwork at Kennedy Rd. and Passmore Ave. Southbound buses are running via Passmore Ave, Milliken Blvd. and McNicoll Ave.
- Until 7 p.m. on Sat., Aug. 30, 184 Ancaster Park eastbound buses are diverting during sewer main replacement at Garratt Blvd. and Wilson Ave. Buses are running along Ancaster Rd., Gilley Rd., Garratt Blvd., Regent Rd., Maniza Rd. and Wilson Ave.
- Until 6 p.m. on Sat., Aug. 30, the 47 Lansdowne buses are diverting northbound only to accommodate watermain replacement along Caledonia Rd. Buses are running on Eglinton Ave., Ronald Ave., Castlefield Ave., Dufferin St., Tycos Dr. and Caledonia Rd.
- Until 7 p.m. on Mon., Sept. 8, the 63/363 Ossington and 161 Rogers Road routes are diverting during basement flooding protection work at Oakwood Ave. and Rogers Rd. 63/363 Ossington northbound buses are running along Dufferin St. between Rogers Rd. and St. Clair Ave. 161 Rogers Road buses are diverting westbound via St. Clair Ave., Dufferin St. and Rogers Rd.
