TTC adds extra service for BLACKPINK concerts at Rogers Stadium and adjusts scheduled early closure for a seamless ride home
The TTC is adjusting this week’s planned early subway closure on Line 1 to ensure a seamless ride home for fans attending the BLACKPINK concerts. The TTC will also be running extra subway service to help concert goers get to and from Rogers Stadium quickly and safely.
Tonight, Tues., July 22, and tomorrow, Wed., July 23, the TTC will begin track work at 12:30 a.m. between St Clair West and Union stations. Shuttle buses will replace subway service until 2 a.m. The closure was originally scheduled to begin at 11 p.m. each night.
The previously advertised early subway closure schedule will resume on Thurs., July 24.
Extra service for BLACKPINK at Rogers Stadium
Tonight, and Wednesday night, the TTC will be adding extra subway service on Line 1 Yonge-University and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth to help BLACKPINK fans travel to and from the show at Rogers Stadium quickly and safely.
Fans can take Line 1 to Downsview Park Station. From the station, the venue is a short 10-minute walk away. Also close by are Sheppard West and Wilson stations. Parking is available at TTC commuter parking lots at Sheppard West, Pioneer Village, Highway 407 and Finch West stations. Extra buses will also be operating on surrounding routes 84 Sheppard West, 96 Wilson, 106 Sentinel and 108 Driftwood.
Concert ticket holders can also enjoy a free ride home from three TTC subway stations close to Rogers Stadium, thanks to Live Nation. Fans can show their tickets to TTC staff at Downsview Park, Sheppard West, and Wilson stations after the concerts.
