Upcoming subway closures and weekend service adjustments
This Sun., Aug. 24 only, subway service on the portion of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth, between St George and Broadview stations, will start at 10 a.m. to accommodate beam replacement taking place on the Prince Edward Viaduct.
Shuttle buses will run in place of subway service, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding locations. Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Bay and Sherbourne stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to load PRESTO cards, purchase PRESTO tickets, and connect to surface routes.
Tuesday to Friday – Early nightly closures between Sheppard West and St Clair West stations
This Tues., Aug. 26, through Fri., Aug 29, subway service on the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between Sheppard West and St Clair West stations will end nightly at midnight for planned track work.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the route. Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
