TTC and partners to unveil mural celebrating Sir Arthur Conan Doyle


On Fri. Nov. 29, Councillor Dianne Saxe (University-Rosedale), Jacquelyn Hayward, Director of Planning, Design & Management, Transportation Services, City of Toronto, and Head of Community Relations at the TTC, David Nagler, will unveil phase two of the Sherlock Holmes Walkway mural celebrating the life and work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The Toronto Public Library is home to one of the world’s largest research collections devoted to Arthur Conan Doyle’s life and works. Sherlock Holmes Walk is the north-south walkway on the library's east side. The mural was installed on hoarding that was put up due to construction for the TTC’s Bloor-Yonge Capacity Improvements Project.
