Festive season begins, TTC adds service to the Distillery Winter Village
The festive season is in full swing at the Distillery Winter Village, and Santa Claus is making his way to the Beaches this Sunday. For those looking to experience the magic of the season, taking the TTC is the most convenient, safest, and eco-friendly way to navigate the city.
Extra service for Distillery Winter Village
The Distillery Winter Village is running until the new year. The TTC is increasing weekend service on the 65 Parliament from Castle Frank Station, and 121 Esplanade-River from Union Station, with both running to the Distillery via Mill St. Additional buses are running on Friday nights and on Saturdays and Sundays until Dec. 31.
Customers can also take a 504A King streetcar with eastbound service to Distillery Loop. From the east-end, customers can take a 503 Kingston Road streetcar from Queen St. E., or a 504 King from Broadview Station, and transfer to an eastbound 504A King at Sumach St.
Beaches Santa Clause Parade
The Beaches Santa Clause Parade will take place this Sun., Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. Those attending can take a 503 Kingston Road streetcar or a 12 Kingston Road bus to get there. Both routes will be adjusting service to accommodate road closures for the parade:
- 12:00 p.m. – 2 p.m., 12 Kingston Road eastbound buses will divert via Gerrard St. E, Clonmore Dr. and Warden Ave. Delays can be expected for westbound service due to anticipated traffic congestion.
- 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., 503 Kingston Road streetcars will turn back at Kingston Rd. and Queen St. E.
The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service, as well as alternate route options. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on X or sign up for eAlerts.
