TTC begins enhanced service to Toronto parks and attractions with 200-series routes
The TTC’s highly anticipated 200-series seasonal bus routes are back in service, offering convenient and reliable transit to some of Toronto’s most popular parks and attractions.
Customers can easily spot the seasonal routes by the distinctive white and pink branding on maps, station signage, and stop poles, ensuring that riders can quickly and confidently locate the buses that will take them to their warm weather destinations.
Among the highlights of the 200-series routes is the dedicated 200 Toronto Zoo service, connecting customers to and from Rouge Hill GO Station and the Toronto Zoo via Port Union Rd. and Sheppard Ave. E. This service operates every 20 minutes on weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., as well as on weeknights from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., running every 30 minutes. Starting on June 23, weekday service to the Toronto Zoo will increase to every 20 minutes, running from morning until 8 p.m.
In addition to the 200 Toronto Zoo service, the 201 Bluffer’s Park and 202 Cherry Beach routes are also back in service, offering convenient transit to the popular east-side beaches. The 201 Bluffer’s Park is a weekend service, running every 15 minutes between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. The 202 Cherry Beach runs every 30 minutes on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., and every 20 minutes on weeknights from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. On weekends, the 202 Cherry Beach runs every 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.
In June, the 203 High Park route will make its return, providing weekend and holiday service to the beautiful High Park area.
