Upcoming subway closures and service diversions


Line 1 – St Clair to Finch – weekend closure

 

This Sat., Oct. 21 and Sun., Oct 22, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St Clair and Finch stations due to track work.

 

Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations.

 

North York Centre and Lawrence stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to load PRESTO cards, purchase PRESTO tickets and connect to surface routes.

 

At Sheppard-Yonge Station, the automatic entrances/exits at Poyntz Ave. and Anndale Dr. will be closed. At York Mills Station, the Old York Mills Rd. entrance/exit will be closed.

 

Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.

 

Line 1 – St George to St Andrew – early weeknight closures

 

Mon., Oct. 23, through Fri., Oct. 27, subway service on the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St George and St Andrew stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. due to track work.

 

Shuttle buses will run, and TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations.

 

Museum, Queens Park and St Patrick stations will be closed during this time. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to load PRESTO cards, purchase PRESTO tickets and connect to surface routes.

 

Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.

 

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.

 

Service diversions

 

511 Bathurst

 

Starting Mon., Oct. 23 until Thurs., Oct. 26, 511 Bathurst streetcars will divert between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. nightly to accommodate state-of-good-repair work. Streetcars will divert both ways from Bathurst St. along College St., Spadina Ave., and King St. W.

 

300 Bloor-Danforth Night Bus

 

Starting Mon., Oct. 23 until Sat., Oct. 28, the 300 Bloor-Danforth Night Bus will divert to accommodate Metrolinx bridgework on Bloor St. W., between Ruttan St. and St Helens Ave. Buses will operate both ways from Bloor St. W. along Lansdowne Ave., Dupont St., and Symington Ave.
