TTC gives Wheel-Trans customers more options in booking a trip, with new mobile app

The TTC has launched a new mobile app, enabling Wheel-Trans customers to schedule and manage trips from their smartphones.


The Wheel-Trans mobile app is available for both iOS and Android users, supporting most of the functions available on the Wheel-Trans Self-booking Website.


The app can be used to plan both door-to-door and Family of Services (FOS) trips. Customers can use the Wheel-Trans mobile app in the following ways:


  • Plan trips at their convenience: Book, review, modify or cancel trips through the app at any time.

  • Use the ‘Where is My Ride?’ option to see the vehicle location on a map in real time (Buses only at this time).

  • Schedule and manage both door-to-door and Family of Services trips.
  • Receive service alerts and view trip history.

  • Reset password and modify communication preferences.


Wheel-Trans customers can now book their trips through the Wheel-Trans mobile app, Wheel-Trans Self-booking Website, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or by contacting Wheel-Trans Reservations. This new accessible technology aligns with the Wheel-Trans 10-Year Strategy that aims to enhance the customer experience and offer customers spontaneity and autonomy in trip planning.
