Cheer on the Raptors tonight with free rides on the 504 King

Fans heading downtown tonight for the Toronto Raptors NBA season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves have another reason to celebrate, with free rides on the 504 King from 5 p.m. – midnight, courtesy of CIROC Vodka.

Tonight’s free ride on the 504 King is an ideal option for getting to and from the game, with Scotiabank Arena a short walk from stops at King and Bay streets. Operating through the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District, the 504 King is also perfect for fans heading to a downtown venue to watch the game.

During tonight’s free-ride period, customers riding 504 King streetcars and replacement buses will not need to tap their PRESTO, debit or credit card, or pay by cash, TTC ticket or token. A paper transfer is not required on the 504 King during the free-ride period.

504 King streetcars and bus replacement services are operating both ways between Dundas West Station and the Distillery District. Between 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., customers can transfer between 504 King streetcars and replacement buses at King and Church streets. After 7 p.m., 504 King streetcars will operate their regular route between Dundas West Station and Distillery Loop.

The free ride offer also applies to customers using the 504/505 King/Dundas, operating along Broadview Ave. between Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital and Castle Frank Station. Customers on all other routes will be required to pay a fare when boarding, and at subway station fare gates.
