Upcoming TTC subway closures

This Sat., April 15, and Sun., April 16, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 1 between St Clair West and St Andrew stations due to track work.

Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations.

Dupont, Queen’s Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed. All other stations will remain open for customers to load their PRESTO card, purchase PRESTO Tickets, or connect to surface routes.

At Spadina Station, the automatic entrance/exit at Kendal Ave. will be closed. Other entrances and exits will be available for customers.

Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.

Monday to Friday

Starting at 11 p.m., Mon., April 17 nightly through Thurs., April 20, subway service on Line 1 between Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Finch West stations will operate on a single-track. This will allow TTC crews to complete necessary structural maintenance on the opposite track.

The TTC will operate a subway shuttle train between Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Finch West stations. The shuttle train will run on the southbound track, while maintenance work is carried out on the northbound side.

Customers will board northbound trains on the southbound side of the platforms and may experience longer than normal wait and travel times.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.
