Upcoming TTC Subway Closures

This weekend, Sat., May 14 and Sun., May 15, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 2 between Broadview and Woodbine stations due to track work.

Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations, which will vary from station to station.

Chester Station will be closed. All others will remain open for people to load their PRESTO card, purchase PRESTO Tickets and connect to surface routes.

At Pape Station, the automatic entrance/exit at Lipton Ave. will be closed. Customers should use the main entrance/exit at the station.

Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.

Customers should also note that there will be no service on the 174 Ontario Place route from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Sun. May 15, to accommodate the Juno Awards. More information and trip planning assistance can be found at ttc.ca.

Monday - Thursday

Mon., May 16 through Thurs., May 19, subway service on the portion of Line 2 between Broadview and Woodbine stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. to allow crews to continue working on the tracks.

Chester Station will be closed. All other stations will remain open for people to load their PRESTO card, purchase PRESTO Tickets and connect to surface routes.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work as well as ATC signal upgrades.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternate routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for eAlerts.
