TTC to host vaccine clinic at Union Station from March 15-17

From Tues. Mar. 15 to Thurs. Mar. 17, the TTC will be holding a vaccination clinic at Union Station. The clinic will be open to TTC customers, employees and members of the public.

“Thank you to the TTC and Women's College Hospital for working to host this vaccine clinic in Union Station during March Break,” said Mayor John Tory. "The TTC continues to be a great partner and a key part of our Team Toronto vaccination efforts. Thousands of COVID-19 vaccine doses have been delivered to residents who need them thanks to our TTC clinics and I encourage anyone who still needs a vaccine dose to visit Union Station next week."

“Vaccinations are an essential tool in the fight against COVID, and the TTC is continuing to provide convenient locations for people to get their vaccines while commuting. If you are eligible for a first, second or third dose, I encourage you to take advantage of this upcoming clinic," said TTC Chair Jaye Robinson.

“Last year, the TTC hosted several vaccination clinics at stations across the city, in collaboration with health partners, and thousands of people chose to get their vaccines at these clinics,” said TTC CEO Rick Leary. “With pandemic restrictions being relaxed, and in-person events returning, it’s important that people continue to protect themselves by getting vaccinated and boosted.”

The TTC has hosted 68 vaccination clinics so far, including clinics at stations for customers and members of the public, as well as clinics at divisions for TTC employees and their families. Over 9,700 doses have been administered at these clinics.

The clinic is being held in partnership with Women’s College Hospital, and will run from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day in the mezzanine area of the station.

Those visiting the vaccine clinic who are not travelling on the TTC will not be required to pay a fare. First, second and third doses will be administered to persons 5 years and older as per public health guidelines. No appointments will be required, and both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available.

Customers are encouraged to visit ttc.ca for additional information and to stay informed on any future TTC-hosted vaccination clinics.
