TTC to host vaccination clinics at Wilson, Victoria Park and Lawrence West stations

The TTC continues to host vaccination clinics at its stations, with clinics scheduled at Wilson Station starting tomorrow, Sept. 25 to Mon., Sept. 27, and Victoria Park and Lawrence West stations from Tues., Sept. 28 to Thurs., Sept. 30. All three clinics are open to TTC customers, employees and members of the public.

The TTC has previously hosted pop-up vaccination clinics at several of its stations, most recently from Sept. 16 to 18 at Warden, Islington and Sheppard West stations during the City of Toronto's #DaysofVaxtion campaign. 791 doses were administered at those clinics, many of which were first doses.

"I want to thank the TTC for working with our Team Toronto health partners to host vaccination clinics at transit stations across the city," said Mayor John Tory. "These TTC locations - including the upcoming clinics at Wilson, Victoria Park, and Lawrence West stations - are helping make sure everyone, everywhere in our city has access to the COVID-19 vaccine and that we continue our steady progress getting people vaccinated."

"I'm very proud of the TTC's ongoing efforts to support Toronto's immunization campaign. We are hosting these clinics in accessible and convenient locations, so that anyone who has not yet gotten their vaccine can take advantage of the opportunity to do so over the next few days," said TTC Chair Jaye Robinson.

"Since May of this year, we've hosted a number of vaccination clinics for employees and their families at our divisions and also hosted clinics at stations for our customers," said TTC CEO Rick Leary. "I'm very proud to say that we've been able to administer close to 6,000 doses at these clinics. We will continue to play our role in the fight against COVID-19, and will work with the city and our hospital partners to keep providing opportunities for all Toronto residents to get vaccinated."

The clinic at Wilson Station is being hosted in partnership with Humber River Hospital, and will run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sat., Sept 25 and Mon., Sept. 27, and from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sun., Sept. 26, in the mezzanine area of the station. Clinics at Victoria Park and Lawrence West stations are being hosted with East Toronto Health Partners and Humber River Hospital respectively, and will run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day, while supplies last.

People visiting the vaccine clinics who are not travelling on the TTC will not be required to pay a fare. First and second doses will be offered to everyone born in 2009 or earlier (turning 12 or older this year). No appointments will be required, and both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available.

Customers are encouraged to visit ttc.ca for additional information and to stay informed on any future TTC-hosted vaccination clinics.
