Upcoming TTC Subway Closures
This Fri., June 25 only, subway service on the portion of Line 2 between Kipling and Islington stations will end at 11 p.m. for signal maintenance.
Shuttle buses will run frequently. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations, which will vary from station to station.
All stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes.
As Islington Station is not yet accessible, customers travelling westbound on Line 2 who require an accessible connection should exit the train at Royal York Station and see any TTC customer service employee for assistance.
This weekend
This weekend, Sat., June 26 and Sun., June 27, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 2 between Kipling and Jane stations due to signal maintenance.
Replacement shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations, which will vary from station to station.
At Royal York Station, the automatic entrance/exit at Grenview Blvd. will be closed. Other entrances and exits will be available for customers. All stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes.
Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Monday to Wednesday
Mon., June 28 through Wed., June 30, subway service on the portion of Line 1 between St Clair West and St Andrew stations will end at 11 p.m. nightly for track maintenance.
Replacement shuttle buses will run frequently, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations, which will vary from station to station.
Dupont, Museum, Queen's Park, St Patrick and Osgoode stations will be closed every night at 11 p.m. All other stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes and Line 2.
Customers requiring Wheel-Trans service should speak to any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work as well as ATC signal upgrades.
