No subway service on portion of TTC Line 1 this Saturday only

This Sat., May 16, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 1 between Lawrence West and St Clair West stations to accommodate track work.

Replacement shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations, which will vary from station to station. In addition to the shuttles, the Yonge side of Line 1 will be available as an alternative.

Glencairn and Eglinton West stations will be closed but all other stations will remain open for PRESTO fare sales and access to surface routes.

Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and ATC upgrades.
