TTC Line 2 subway late opening this Sunday only

This Sunday, July 26 only, subway service on Line 2 between St George and Broadview stations will start by 12 p.m. to accommodate beam replacement on the Prince Edward (Bloor) Viaduct.

Bay and Sherbourne stations will be closed. All other stations will remain open for the purchase of PRESTO fares and connection to surface routes. Shuttle buses will operate.

EARLY CLOSING NEXT WEEK

From Mon., July 27 to Fri., July 31, subway service will end each night at 11 p.m. on Line 2 between St George and Woodbine stations to accommodate track maintenance and upgrades. Regular service will resume by approximately 6 a.m. Tuesday to Friday mornings. Shuttle buses will operate.

Bay, Sherbourne and Chester stations will be closed. All other stations will remain open for the purchase of PRESTO fares and connection to surface routes.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and ATC upgrades.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternative routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for eAlerts.
