Line 3 elevator maintenance to temporarily impact accessibility

The TTC will be performing vital elevator maintenance work at Kennedy Station beginning on Feb. 18, 2020, through to the end of  July 2020. The elevators at Scarborough Centre Station are also undergoing maintenance work. As a result, TTC's Line 3 service will not be fully accessible.

At Scarborough Centre Station, the Line 3 eastbound platform elevator is scheduled to be out of service until Mar. 16, 2020. The Line 3 westbound platform elevator will then be closed from Mar. 17, 2020 until the end of July 2020.

At Kennedy Station, the elevator that takes customers to the Line 3 platform and bus bay will be out of service until the end of July 2020. All other elevators at Kennedy Station will remain in service for access to street level, concourse level and the Line 2 subway platform.

Accessible bus connections at Kennedy Station

As the Kennedy Station bus bay will not be accessible via elevator, customers are advised to ask any TTC Customer Service Representative for assistance entering and exiting the bus bay at street level.

Customers taking the 43B Kennedy or 113 Danforth to Kennedy Station can disembark outside the bus bay at a temporary stop near the street level elevator.

Accessible alternative routes along Line 3

TTC Family of Services trips that would have included travel along Line 3 will be adjusted and become door-to-door Wheel-Trans trips. Family of Services trips that connect to Line 2 at Kennedy Station will not be affected, nor will door-to-door Wheel-Trans service.

Customers who require an accessible connection between Kennedy and Scarborough Centre Station can take the 21 Brimley, 43B Kennedy, or, during rush hour, the 903 Kennedy-Scarborough Centre Express bus route.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternate routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for eAlerts.
