A portion of TTC Line 1 to close early next Mon., Tues. and Thurs.

Next week, the portion of the TTC's Line 1 between Wilson and St Clair West stations will close at 11 p.m. nightly on Mon., Jun. 3, Tues., Jun. 4 and Thurs., Jun. 6 for track maintenance. The same early closure, originally scheduled for Wed., Jun. 5, has been cancelled because Game 3 of the NBA Finals will be held that evening.

Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. Yorkdale and Glencairn stations will be closed, but all others will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes. TTC staff will be on hand to help direct customers to the appropriate shuttle locations, which will vary from station to station. For more information, please visit ttc.ca.

Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station. Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency. As Wilson Station is not yet accessible, customers requiring an accessible connection should use Sheppard West Station instead.

This weekend

The TTC is reminding customers that the portion of Line 2 between St George and Broadview stations will be closed until noon tomorrow, Jun. 1, for maintenance on the Prince Edward (Bloor) Viaduct. Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route throughout the morning.

Also this weekend, the Manulife Heart & Stroke Ride for Heart will be held on Sunday, shutting down the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway for several hours. The 29/329 Dufferin and 121 Fort York-Esplanade will divert from their usual routing to accommodate the event. Thoroughfares like Yonge St., Bayview Ave., Bathurst St. and Lake Shore Blvd. are expected to be busier than usual. Customers are encouraged to allow for extra travel time due to the added volume and plan ahead using ttc.ca.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternative routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for eAlerts at ttc.ca.
