TTC Line 1 to close between Wilson and St Clair West tonight for track work

The portion of Line 1 between Wilson and St Clair West stations will close at 11 p.m. tonight for track maintenance. This closure, previously scheduled from Lawrence West to St Clair West, has expanded to include Yorkdale and Wilson stations. The same early closure, originally scheduled for tomorrow night, has been cancelled due to Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Yorkdale and Glencairn stations will be closed but all others will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes. TTC staff will be on hand to help direct customers to the appropriate shuttle locations, which will vary from station to station. For more information, please visit ttc.ca.

Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station. Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency. As Wilson Station is not yet accessible, customers requiring an accessible connection should use Sheppard West Station instead.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and maintenance upgrades.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternative routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for eAlerts.
