Bloorcourt mural adorns the TTC Metropass for April

This month, the TTC is featuring art from the Bloorcourt BIA on the April custom Metropass. On sale tomorrow through Thurs., Apr. 5, this month’s pass features an image of a street mural created by artist Jason Pinney (@onedaycreates).

Inspired by the themes of music and community, the mural was created with a grant from the Bloorcourt BIA. The iconic neighbourhood art was painted by Jason nearly a decade ago with help from other artists at a local gallery.

The April Metropass is part of a 2018 series that features images of different ‘distinctly Toronto’ murals from GTA neighbourhoods.

Metropasses are available for purchase at collector booths and participating TTC fare agents and are $146.25 for adults and $116.75 for seniors (65+), students (13-19) and post-secondary students with valid ID.

The TTC reminds customers that monthly passes for adults and seniors are also available on PRESTO at the same prices.
