This weekend on the TTC

This weekend, TTC crews will conduct rail repairs and maintenance work on the 504/304 King streetcar route, causing streetcars on that route to be replaced by buses and divert from their regular routing. During this time, Toronto Hydro will also begin necessary repairs on a hydro vault and City crews will refresh road markings in the area.

504 King shuttle buses will operate between Dufferin Loop and King St. E. at River St. The overnight 304 King service will have streetcars running on Queen St. between Dundas West Station and Broadview Station, and shuttle buses running along King St. between Dundas West Station and Broadview Station. Regular service will be back up and running by 5 a.m. on Mon., Dec. 10.

WHEEL-TRANS

This Sun., Dec. 9, Wheel-Trans will be launching a new and improved booking website. As a result, the Wheel-Trans booking system will be unavailable from Sat., Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. until midday on Sun., Dec. 9. During that period, reservationists will be accepting future trip bookings and cancellations by phone. Same-day trip bookings will be unavailable from Sat. at 4 p.m., until 5:30 a.m. on Mon., Dec. 10.

Once the new system is live, customers will experience benefits, such as a new layout and design, the ability to book trips any time of day or night and a better online integration of Family of Services.

LINE 2

Finally, the TTC is reminding customers that the portion of Line 2 between Kennedy and Victoria Park stations will be closed tomorrow only for track work and maintenance. This is the TTC's final scheduled subway closure for 2018. Weekend work will continue in the new year.

Shuttle buses will run throughout the closure. All stations will remain open for fare sales and transfers to surface routes.

Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station. Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency.
