TTC, YRT and Metrolinx co-host first Special Constables Women’s Symposium

This Saturday, the TTC, York Region Transit (YRT) and Metrolinx will co-host the first Transit Special Constable Women’s symposium to encourage more women to join the field. Women currently make up between nine and 15 per cent of transit Special Constables.

Location: Humber College Lakeshore Campus, 

Building L, 19 Colonel Sam Smith Park Dr., Etobicoke

The symposium, which will provide women with educational sessions and networking opportunities, sold out within days of being announced. 

The TTC, YRT and Metrolinx are committed to creating an inclusive workforce and promoting women’s representation in law enforcement across the GTA.
