Free parking at TTC Line 1 extension lots ends next week

After four months of free parking at three lots on the TTC's Line 1 extension, regular rates will be in effect as of Monday morning, April 23.

On Dec. 17, the first day of service on the Line 1 extension, the TTC opened lots at the Highway 407, Finch West and Pioneer Village stations, and offered free parking until April as a courtesy to get customers familiar with the available options.

Starting Monday, the weekday daily rate at all three lots will be $7 from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. Customers arriving after 3 p.m. will pay only $2. And as with most TTC lots, parking is free on weekends and statutory holidays. These rates are in line with those charged at other TTC parking lots.

Combined, the three lots provide more than 2,800 spaces – 347 spaces at Finch West Station, 1,881 spaces at Pioneer Village Station and 583 spaces at Highway 407 Station.

Payment can be made on the Green P mobile app or by coin, VISA, MasterCard and American Express at pay-and-display machines.

Customers are reminded to park only in designated spaces. Any cars found in unauthorized parts of a lot or in a fire route are subject to tickets and towing.
