TTC modernization continues at College Station

Over the next two weeks, modernization of the TTC continues at College Station with new PRESTO-equipped fare gates being installed. As such, the station will close early at 10 p.m. for four nights, Nov. 14, 15, 16 and again on Nov. 20. These early closures are necessary to complete the floor work that cannot be done while the station is open.

Subway trains will pass through the station without stopping. Customers will need to use Wellesley or Dundas stations to access the subway.

Over the coming weeks, two other subway stations will close for the weekend or early for fare gate construction. These include:
Osgoode Station: weekend closure - 10 p.m. Dec. 1 until 6 a.m. Dec 4 Queen's Park Station: early closure - 10 p.m. Dec. 6, 7, 11 and 12

The full fare gate construction schedule is available at ttc.ca and a video (https://youtu.be/leJI7qjtESI) explaining the next wave of fare gate construction is posted on the TTC's YouTube channel.

Station specific fact sheets are also posted at ttc.ca. During closures, customer service ambassadors will be in place to assist customers with directions and information.

When the fare gate installation is complete next spring, every subway station and every entrance will have new gates and accept PRESTO. New fare gates are in place today at 49 stations and 79 entrances.
