TTC tunnel work on Queens Quay this weekend


This weekend, shuttle buses will replace streetcars on the 509 Harbourfront route and portions of the 510/317 Spadina route as City of Toronto crews conduct a bridge inspection on Spadina Ave. and TTC crews perform overhead work in the Queens Quay tunnel. Routes will run as follows:


509 Harbourfront


Starting Fri., Feb. 10 at 9 p.m. and throughout the weekend, a 509 Harbourfront shuttle bus service will run between Prince’s Gates loop (Exhibition Place) and King Station, traveling along Bay St. and Queens Quay W.


510 Spadina


Overnight Friday night, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sat., Feb. 11, streetcars on the 510/317 Spadina will turn back north at Charlotte Loop, located south of the intersection of King St. W. and Spadina Ave. Customers must transfer between 510/317 streetcars and 510/317 shuttle buses on Spadina Ave., between Richmond St. and King Sts.


Starting Sat., Feb 11 at 5 a.m. and throughout the rest of the weekend, 510/317 Spadina streetcars will turn back at Queens Quay/Spadina Loop.


During this period, customers must transfer between 510/317 streetcars and 509/317 shuttle buses at Queens Quay and Spadina Ave.


Streetcar service returns to both routes Mon., Feb. 13 at 5 a.m.
