Take the TTC to the Santa Claus Parade this weekend


Santa Claus is coming to town! The Santa Claus Parade is this Sun., Nov., 20 and the TTC is the perfect way to welcome Santa back to Toronto while avoiding parking and traffic congestion.

To make the day out a little more jolly, subway service will be increased on Sunday to accommodate those attending the parade, and parking is free at most TTC commuter lots.

Several subway stations are conveniently located along or near the parade route, including Christie, Bathurst, Spadina and St George stations on Line 2, and Museum, Queen's Park, St Patrick, Osgoode, Queen and King stations on Line 1.

The 501 Queen, 505 Dundas, 504 King, 506 Carlton, 511 Bathurst and 514 Cherry streetcar routes will be maintained over regular routing through breaks in the parade. Some bus routes are diverting during parade hours. Check the ttc.ca homepage for details.

For $12, a TTC Group/Family Day pass provides unlimited one day travel for a group of up to six people, maximum two adults over 19 years of age. You can buy and use the Day Pass as an E-Ticket through the TTCconnect app on your iOS or Android device. The Group/Family Day Pass is also available at all TTC Collector Booths. Children 12 and under ride free.
