Visit the TTC display at the People in Motion Show


This weekend, Fri., May 27 – Sat., May 28, the TTC will be at People in Motion 2016, Canada's largest exhibition for people with disabilities.

The TTC booth will feature:

-A low-floor accessible TTC bus where customers can practice boarding procedures, assisted by a Transit Operator
-Information on accessibility improvements to conventional TTC (bus/streetcar/subway)
-A demonstration on planning routes using either the conventional system, or both Wheel-Trans and conventional TTC
-Informational videos on priority seating, low-floor streetcars, and PRESTO
-ACAT members answering questions and gathering feedback on TTC accessible services

TTC CEO Andy Byford will be available to answer questions on Friday between 3 and 4 p.m.

For accessible transit service, take the 509 Harbourfront replacement bus from Fleet Loop or the 29 Dufferin bus. The TTC is also providing a Wheel-Trans shuttle bus from Bathurst Station every half hour on both days. The first bus departs Bathurst Station at 9:30 a.m. with the last bus departing at 4:30 p.m. The first bus departs the Queen Elizabeth Building at 10 a.m., with the last bus departing for Bathurst Station at 5:30 p.m.
