Take the TTC to the Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade
This Sat., July 30, the TTC will provide increased service to customers attending the Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade at Exhibition Place.
Customers can use the following routes to Exhibition Place:
- 29 Dufferin/29E Dufferin Express buses southbound from Dufferin Station to Dufferin Gate
- 511 Bathurst streetcar/511 Bathurst Express shuttle bus southbound from Bathurst Station to Fort York Blvd./Fleet St. and walk five to 10 minutes
- 504 King streetcar westbound from King or St Andrew stations to King St./Strachan Ave. and walk five to 10 minutes
- 509 Harbourfront streetcar westbound from Union Station to Fort York Blvd./Bastion St. and walk five to 10 minutes, or take the 121 Fort York-Esplanade bus westbound (board bus at street level at Front/Bay Sts. to Fort York Blvd./Fleet St. and walk five minutes
Streetcars on the 514 Cherry route will turn back at Charlotte loop, located at the intersection of King St. W and Charlotte St. The 510 Spadina route will turn back at Queens Quay loop, located at Queens Quay and Spadina Ave.
As PRESTO is not yet available on all buses, customers should carry tokens, tickets or cash in case the vehicle that arrives is not PRESTO-equipped. Buses that replace streetcars require Proof-of-Payment.
Customers heading to the parade can also take advantage of the TTC Group Pass. For $12, a TTC Group Pass provides unlimited one-day travel for a group of up to six people, maximum two adults and not more than four youths 19 years of age or under. Children 12 years of age or under ride for free. The pass is valid from the start of service until 5:30 a.m. the next morning. Purchase a Group Pass at any TTC station or by using the TTCConnect app on your iOS or Android device.
