TTC bus stops at Yonge-Eglinton relocated during LRT construction

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 9 a.m., several TTC bus stops around the intersection of Yonge St. and Eglinton Ave. are being moved to accommodate Metrolinx construction on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.

In addition to stop relocations at all four corners of the intersection, a number of bus bays inside Eglinton Station are being moved to accommodate changes in how some buses must enter and exit the station.

Signs and information cards will be placed on the existing stop poles, and TTC Customer Service Representatives will be in the area this week to assist customers and provide additional information about the changes in the area.

See more information on the changes.

Throughout the project, bus stops have been relocated at a number of intersections along Eglinton Ave. In all cases, stops are moved to locations that are safe for bus operators to serve customers while remaining as close as possible to the existing stops.
