No service on TTC's Line 1 between Bloor-Yonge and Union stations this morning
Due to flooding at a Toronto Hydro substation, there is no train service on Line 1 both ways between Bloor-Yonge and Union stations. The TTC is operating 60 shuttle buses between Bloor-Yonge and Union and is reminding riders to use the University portion of Line 1 to travel downtown and make connections with 504, 505 and 506 east-west streetcar routes.
TTC electrical crews are on the scene and repairs to cables connecting to a nearby flooded Toronto Hydro substation expected to take up to three hours.
Subway service is expected to resume at approximately the noon hour.
