TTC track upgrade work on Line 2 this weekend

This weekend, Aug. 22-23, there will be no subway service between Kipling and Jane stations on Line 2 as the TTC conducts state-of-good-repair work near Islington, Old Mill and Kipling stations that includes maintenance on special track work and the power rail.

Crews will also undertake roof repairs at Kipling Station and clear weeds and debris in the open areas of the subway right-of-way.

A frequent replacement bus service will operate between Kipling and Jane stations.

Wheel-Trans vehicles will be available for customers who require accessible transit. Customers can speak with any uniformed TTC employee at either Kipling or Jane station to make use of this service.

Regular subway service will resume on Mon., Aug. 24 at 6 a.m.
