TTC streetcars to divert for TIFF festivities


From 10 a.m. on September 4 until 4 a.m. September 8, King St. W. will be closed between University Ave. and Peter St. for Toronto International Film Festival activities.

As a result, the Toronto Transit Commission's 504 King and 508 Lake Shore routes will be on diversion as follows:

- 504 King eastbound: east on King St. W., north on Spadina Ave., east on Queen St. W. and south on Church St. to route.

- 504 King westbound: west on King St. E., north on York St., west on Queen St. W. and south on Spadina Ave. to route.

- 508 Lake Shore a.m. rush: east on King St. W., north on Spadina Ave., east on Queen St. W. and south on Church St. to route. Operates westbound on 506 Carlton route.

- 508 Lake Shore p.m. rush: east on King St. W., north on Spadina Ave., east on Queen St. W., south on Church St., west on King St. E., north on York St., west on Queen St. W., south on Spadina Ave. to route.

 

From September 8-11, King St. W. will be reduced to one lane in each direction for TIFF events. Customers using the 504 and 508 routes should leave extra time for their commute.
