TTC to adjust 510 Spadina bus service beginning Monday

On Monday, July 28, the intersection of Spadina Ave. and Dundas St. W. will be closed to all traffic as the TTC begins phase two of scheduled track work. The 505 Dundas streetcars will continue to divert via Bathurst St., College Ave., McCaul St., while the 510 Spadina replacement bus route is split into two sections, with no service on Spadina Ave. between Baldwin Ave. and Sullivan Ave.

Phase two: July 28 – August 10
• The intersection at Spadina Ave. and Dundas St. W. will be closed to all traffic. The 510 Spadina bus service will split into two portions: The north portion will operate between Spadina Station and Baldwin St. The south portion will operate between Sullivan St. and Queens Quay. Customers travelling the length of the route must transfer buses by walking between Baldwin St. and Sullivan St.
• As an alternative to the 510 Spadina, customers can use the 511 Bathurst streetcar or University subway line to travel north-south, uninterrupted.

The TTC is also retrofitting the streetcar platform at Spadina Station during this time to accommodate the new low-floor streetcars. Customers boarding 510 Spadina replacement buses must do so at street level at the station. The 510 Spadina streetcar will return to normal service on Sunday, August 31 with the introduction of the new streetcar.
