Portion of TTC Line 2 closed July 19-20

The Toronto Transit Commission will be conducting track work on a section of Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) on July 19-20 that includes the replacement of track and switches between Kipling and Islington stations. As a result, subway trains will not operate between Kipling and Islington stations. When complete, the work will result in improved service reliability through the area.

A frequent shuttle bus service will operate, and Wheel-Trans buses will be stationed at Jane and Kipling stations to assist customers who require accessible service.

Normal subway service will resume on Monday, July 21 at 6 a.m.
