Gas line work to close Leslie and Commissioners intersection near TTC Leslie Barns

Due to emergency gas line repairs, the intersection of Commissioners St. and Leslie St. will be closed starting at approximately 9 a.m. on Mon., July 28.  The intersection, located near the Toronto Transit Commission’s Leslie Barns construction site, will be closed for two weeks.

As a result of the closure, the 83 Jones bus will be on diversion.

Toronto police will be on-site 24/7 to maintain one interchangeable lane of traffic from southbound Leslie St. to westbound Commissioners St., and from eastbound Commissioners St. to northbound Leslie St.  Vehicles will not be able to travel from Leslie St. across the Commissioners intersection northbound or southbound. Access to the Portlands is available via Cherry St. to Unwin Ave.
