TTC Main Street Station elevator and York Mills Station south-end escalatorout of service for major overhauls


Beginning January 12, the elevator at Main Street Station will undergo a major overhaul. The elevator will be out of service until March 23. Customers who require an accessible connection to the Bloor-Danforth line should plan their trip to Broadview, Pape, Victoria Park or Kennedy stations.

The two escalators located at the south end of the TTC’s York Mills Station will be out of service starting on Fri. Jan. 10. The escalators will also undergo a major overhaul. The escalators are located adjacent to the passenger pick-up area.

Customers can use the elevators located at the main entrance to York Mills Station.  The south end escalators are scheduled to be back in service at the end of September.
