Portion of TTC Line 2 closed December 6-7

The Toronto Transit Commission is closing a portion of Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) this weekend, Dec. 6 - 7, to allow the City of Toronto to conduct structural work on the Prince Edward (Bloor) Viaduct. As a result, there will be no subway service between St George and Pape stations this weekend.

Eastbound trains from Kipling Station will terminate at St George Station. Westbound trains from Kennedy Station will terminate at Pape Station. Shuttle buses will operate along Bloor St. and Danforth Ave., stopping at all intersections where subway stations exist. Wheel Trans buses will be available for customers requiring an accessible connection.

Bloor-Yonge, Castle Frank and Broadview stations will be open for fare purchases and connecting routes. Bay, Sherbourne and Chester stations will be closed.

Normal subway service will resume on Monday, December 8 at 6 a.m.
