TTC station cleaning blitz underway

The Toronto Transit Commission, last week, launched a spring cleaning blitz, starting with the east-end of Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth). TTC employees will be cleaning Scarborough Centre, Kennedy, Warden, Victoria Park, Broadview, Donlands, Greenwood and Main Street stations. The work will focus on bus bays, station entrances and finishes. Crews will then move to other parts of the system once finished there.

Additional crews have been busy power-washing platform walls and floors across the system after subway service ends each night.
The clean-up is part of the TTC’s Customer Charter under the “Clean” category. The TTC promises to ensure all subway stations and vehicles are clean; improving our appearance to ensure the TTC is a transit system that makes Toronto proud.

The media is invited to watch the clean-up in progress.

When:    Wednesday, April 9, 10 a.m.
Where:   Warden Station
