TTC extends subway service for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche

The Toronto Transit Commission is extending subway service and adding extra bus and streetcar service for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, starting on Saturday, October 5 and ending early in the morning on Sunday, October 6.

In addition to the all-night Blue Night Network, subways will operate all night until 7:30 a.m. on the Bloor-Danforth subway between Keele and Woodbine stations and on the Yonge-University-Spadina subway between St Clair West and Eglinton stations. Train frequency will be every 10-15 minutes. The last trains will be departing from end stations at 7 a.m.

The 504 King streetcar will divert utilizing Queen St. between Church St. and Spadina Ave. starting at 3 p.m. on October 5 until 9 a.m. on October 6.  Additional streetcars will be added to the 301 Queen and the 306 Carlton to improve service frequency from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes overnight.

From 1 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., the 320 Yonge will only operate between Eglinton Station to Steeles Ave. The 5 Avenue Rd and the 94 Wellesley will be restricted from utilizing Queen’s Park Cres. E., requiring changes to the northbound routing for the 5 Avenue Rd and westbound for the 94 Wellesley.

The TTC’s Special Event Day Pass for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche is now on sale at all TTC Collector Booths. For $10.75, the pass allows a single customer or a family/group of customers (must have at least one adult, maximum two adults; can include children/youth 19 years of age or under, total persons cannot exceed six) unlimited TTC travel from the start of service on Saturday, October 5, until 9 a.m. on Sunday, October 6.

Free all-night parking is available at TTC commuter parking lots. Spadina subway shuttle buses will run from St Clair West Station, stopping at TTC commuter parking lots located at Wilson and Downsview stations.
