Board meeting resumes November 20th at TTC head office

The Toronto Transit Commission board meeting agenda of November 18 will be completed at a public meeting on November 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the TTC’s head office, 1900 Yonge Street (above Davisville Station).

The board meeting adjourned Monday evening and will resume Wednesday afternoon and continue to hear deputations from the public about the TTC’s 2014 operating, Wheel-Trans and capital budgets. Deputations will be followed by a staff presentation on the budgets. The board will then consider and vote on each budget before City Council, in January, considers the TTC’s subsidy requests, only, for its operating and Wheel-Trans budgets, as well as the full capital budget. The TTC board has sole authority to increase fares and make service changes.
