TTC Scarborough Rapid Transit line and streetcar service suspended due to icy conditions

The TTC’s Scarborough Rapid Transit line and streetcar network has been suspended following last night’s winter storm. Crews are on scene at all locations working to restore service.

Shuttle buses are supplementing service on the Scarborough Rapid Transit line as well as the entire streetcar network. With shuttle bus service expected every 15 minutes, TTC riders are encouraged to utilize the bus and subway network instead.

Power outages elsewhere in the city have affected power at all TTC stations on the Sheppard line, as well as York Mills and North York Centre stations on the Yonge line, and Islington and Victoria Park stations on the Bloor-Danforth line. With back-up power in use, stations will remain open, but escalator and elevators will be out of service.

Customers can view service updates at www.ttc.ca, by registering for TTC e-Services, or by following @TTCnotices on Twitter.
