TTC Wheel-Trans contracted taxi service public consultation

The public is invited to provide input for consideration by TTC staff as they prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Wheel-Trans contracted taxi service.

A meeting will take place on Thursday, August 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Council Chamber at the North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge Street. The Civic Centre is located next to the North York Centre subway station.

Specific topics will include Wheel-Trans service levels, standards and adjustments as well as an overview of the expected procurement timeline for contracted taxi service. TTC staff will be on hand to hear from the public and potential vendors.  ASL, captioning and attendants will be available.

If you can’t attend but would like to contribute suggestions or comments about the upcoming request for proposal please email projectprocurement@ttc.ca no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013. Any suggestions or comments received after Friday August 30, 2013 will not be reviewed.
