TTC increases service and St George elevator back in service

The Toronto Transit Commission increased service on many routes March 31 to meet the demand of growing ridership. In 2012, the TTC carried 514 million riders and that number is expected to rise to 528 million in 2013. This additional service will reduce crowding, shorten wait times, and improve service reliability.

As well, the elevator at St George Station is now back in service.  The TTC would like to thank its customers for their patience during the past several weeks while the unit underwent a complete overhaul.
