Early TTC subway closures on sections of the Bloor-Danforth line for track work

The Toronto Transit Commission will be conducting track work on sections of the Bloor-Danforth line until November, 2011. As a result of this work, the Bloor-Danforth subway will close at midnight for rail grinding.

Subway service will be replaced by frequent shuttle buses. Accessible buses will be provided to the nearest accessible station. Buses connect with each station along the affected portion of the subway.

Regular subway service resumes the next morning.

September 25 - 30 - Kipling Station to Jane Station Early Closure

All trains will turn back east at Jane Station.
A frequent, accessible shuttle bus service will be provided between Kipling Station and Jane Station.

October 2 - 7 - Ossington Station to Broadview Station Early Closure

Subway service split - Kipling to Ossington and Broadview to Kennedy.
A frequent, shuttle bus service will be provided between Ossington Station and Broadview Station.
An accessible bus service will be provided between Dundas West Station and Broadview Station.

October 9 - 14 - St George Station to Broadview Station Early Closure

Subway service split - Kipling to St George and Broadview to Kennedy.
A frequent, accessible shuttle bus service will be provided between St George Station and Broadview Station.

October 16 - 19 - St George Station to Woodbine Station Early Closure

Subway service split - Kipling to St George and Woodbine to Kennedy.
A frequent, shuttle bus service will be provided between St George Station and Woodbine Station.
An accessible bus service will be provided between St George Station and Main Street Station.

October 20 - 21 - Woodbine Station to Kennedy Station Early Closure

All trains turning back west at Woodbine Station. 
A frequent, shuttle bus service will be provided between Woodbine Station and Kennedy Station.
An accessible bus service will be provided between Broadview Station and Kennedy Station.

October 23 - 28 - Woodbine Station to Kennedy Station Early Closure

All trains turning back west at Woodbine Station. 
A frequent, shuttle bus service will be provided between Woodbine Station and Kennedy Station.
An accessible bus service will be provided between Broadview Station and Kennedy Station.

October 30 - November 2 - Woodbine Station to Kennedy Station Early Closure

All trains turning back west at Woodbine Station.

November 3 - 4 - Warden Station to Kennedy Station Early Closure

All trains turning back west at Warden Station.

An accessible bus service will be provided between Victoria Park Station and Kennedy Station.
