Kids 12 and under wearing ‘red noses’ ride TTC free to Santa Claus parade

The Santa Claus parade takes place this Sunday, November 20, and the TTC is the better way to arrive along the parade route.

This year, children 12 and under, and wearing a red nose, can travel to and from the parade for free, courtesy of the Emery Village BIA.  Red noses will be available outside Eglinton, Kennedy, Finch and Kipling stations, as well as all major intersections along the parade route. This free service for the children is valid from the start of service on Sunday, November 20 until 5 p.m.

Subway stations are located along or near the parade route, starting with Christie Station on the Bloor-Danforth line, as well as Bathurst, Spadina and St. George stations, and on the Yonge-University-Spadina line at Museum, Queen’s Park, St. Patrick, Osgoode and St. Andrew stations.

The 511 Bathurst, 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen and 504 King streetcar routes will be maintained over regular routing through breaks in the parade.

For $10, a TTC Family/Day pass provides unlimited one day travel for a group of up to six people, maximum two adults over 19 years of age.  To avoid line-ups, the TTC encourages customers to get their passes early.  The Family/Day Pass can be purchased in advance of the parade at TTC collector booths and participating fare media sellers, or on the day of the parade.
