TTC to divert during final reconstruction of Roncesvalles Avenue

On Sunday, March 27, work associated with the reconstruction of  Roncesvalles Avenue, including the final phase of the overall streetscaping aspect of the project, including curbs and trees, and the relocation of a gas line, will result in no streetcar service on Roncesvalles Avenue.

Buses will replace streetcar service:

Starting Sunday, March 27.

• Southbound:    From Dundas West Station; east on Edna Avenue, south on Dundas Street, south on Roncesvalles Avenue, west on The Queensway to Sunnyside Loop.
• Northbound:    From Sunnyside Loop; east on The Queensway, north on  Roncesvalles Avenue, north on Dundas Street to Dundas West Station.

Starting Monday, March 28.

• Southbound:    From Dundas West Station; east on Edna Avenue., southeast on Dundas Street, south on Lansdowne Avenue, west on Queen Street to the Roncesvalles Avenue intersection.
• Northbound:    From Queen Street West, north on Roncesvalles Avenue, north on Dundas Street to Dundas West Station.

Completion of the project is scheduled for July 2011.
