TTC holds public meetings on proposed route changes
A series of public meetings will be held Jan. 24-27 to provide information around proposed route changes that would take effect this May. The reallocation of service from 48 routes (list attached) with low ridership was deferred by the TTC board on Jan. 12 to the Commission meeting of Feb. 2. The changes being proposed will allow the TTC to increase service on routes where it will be needed most this fall in anticipation of record-level ridership this year of 487 million.
These four meetings will give the public an opportunity to see details of which routes are proposed to be reallocated, alternate routes that customers can use, and an understanding of why the TTC is proposing these changes.
- Monday, January 24 – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
