Early TTC subway closure between Bloor-Yonge and St. Andrew stations

In order to undertake necessary subway track repairs, the TTC will be closing a section of the Yonge-University-Spadina line this Saturday and Sunday at midnight. There will be no subway service between Bloor-Yonge and St. Andrew stations.

Shuttle buses will provide an accessible connection between Bloor-Yonge and Osgoode stations.  Regular subway service will resume at 9 a.m. on Sunday and 6 a.m. on Monday.

The track work will consist of the removal and replacement of track rail due to normal wear.  Work will also take place on the Automatic Train Control system, with the construction of facilities associated with the ATC system, which once implemented, will result in improved and more reliable subway service.
