TTC begins new downtown express bus service from Humber Bay

The Toronto Transit Commission will launch a new premium-fare bus service on Monday, October 19, which will make it more convenient for west-end residents to get downtown.

The 145 Downtown/Humber Bay Express will provide five eastbound trips to downtown Toronto during the morning peak period and six westbound trips from downtown Toronto in the afternoon peak period.  Buses will serve existing bus and streetcar stops along Lake Shore Boulevard, from Kipling Avenue to Colborne Lodge Drive.  Downtown buses will drop off and pick up customers on Adelaide Street and Richmond Street.

With this new route, customers from the communities along Lake Shore Boulevard will enjoy fast and direct express bus service to and from downtown.

Please visit www.ttc.ca for route maps and trip times.

Senior/Student: $1.50 cash, Senior/Student ticket or express sticker added to a monthly Metropass ($32.00). Child: 50 cents cash or child ticket.
