Decorated Canadian war veterans and peacekeepers ride the TTC for free on Warriors’ Day

On Saturday, August 22 (the 88th Annual Warriors’ Day at the CNE) Canadian veterans of war and peacekeeping missions can ride the TTC free of charge.

Canadian war veterans and peacekeepers will be required to show their service medals in place of paying a fare on that day.

Please note: the free-ride offer is exclusive to Canadian war veterans and peacekeepers. Persons accompanying a Canadian war veteran or peacekeeper, who are not veterans, will be required to pay the appropriate fare.
